One Block Too Short

Less than two weeks after the first vehicle/residence strike, a second residential structure has been struck by a vehicle. Shortly after midnight on January 11, a driver of a white F150 Ford pick-up heading westbound on 7th Street in the City of Marshfield lost control and struck a house.

The driver reportedly lives within one block of the incident.  The driver stated to a Marshfield Police Officer that he had accelerated too quickly, causing him to lose control. In addition to colliding with the house, the vehicle struck a sign pole. The individual was suspected of alcohol use. A blood test was given, with the test results still pending.

Please don’t drink and drive! Regardless of the distance you need to travel, you should never operate under the influence.
