The last day will be July 31 [July 27], staff confirmed. A store liquidation sale is ongoing. Sears Hometown Store is known for its appliances, lawn and fitness equipment, mattresses, and tools.
Sears Hometown stores are owned and operated independently. The store owner could not be reached for comment at this time.

Store owner Todd Giraud could not state the reason for the closure but stated that the store will close July 27. He is also the owner of Sears Hometown Store in Sparta.
