West McMillan Street will be undergoing an asphalt overlay beginning the week of May 31.

Submitted to OnFocus – The City of Marshfield will be starting the first phase of an asphalt overlay project on W. McMillan Street the week of May 31, 2021, which will take approximately four weeks to complete. The road construction will be from St. Josephs Avenue to Fig Avenue and the road will be closed to all traffic.

The process will include new concrete panels, curb, and storm structure repairs before the asphalt overlay. A detour route for W. McMillan Street will be south on Central Ave. to W. Upham and west on W. Upham to St. Josephs Avenue. Please be aware of the detour and follow the signage posted.

Residents living within the road work area are asked to enter the closure from Oak Avenue. We appreciate the cooperation and patience during this project.

This phase is a section of the $420,000 project, which is a 2021 CIP (Capital Improvement Project) from the intersections of St. Joesph Avenue to Central Avenue.
