Punishing Ground Game Gives Abbotsford Win Over Crivitz

Crivitz (OnFocus) – Using a punishing ground game, the Abbotsford Falcons dominated Crivitz, picking up a 36-13 win, their first of the season.

Mason Wellman put the Falcons on the board in the first quarter with a 3 yard run. Preston Bunkelman added a 1 yard run and Mason Carpenter scored from 58 yards out in the second quarter.

Carpented added two more touchdowns in the second half, a two yard run and a 92 yard kickoff return for the Falcons’ final score.

Abby rushed 33 times for 274 yards. Their lone pass was  a completion from Cade Faber to Carpenter for 34 yards.
