MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – A simple order for t-shirts has turned into a fundraising opportunity for Marshfield High School students thanks to a local print shop.

Premier Printing is offering an online store allowing parents, community members, teachers and anybody else who would like a homecoming shirt to purchase one. The deadline to order shirts is Tuesday, September 14th.

The shirts start at $15 and the online store accepts PayPal or you can pay in-person via check, cash or card at:
Premier Printing
2500 E 5th St.
Marshfield, WI 54449

The online order platform has an optional button to donate $5 to the class of your choice. You can choose freshman – senior class with the money collected going directly to the class for materials and other things.

Premier Printing Co-Owner Lindsey Rasmussen said the shirts are good-looking and helpful.

“Not only do these shirts help customers show off their Tiger Pride, they also benefit the school they represent,” Rasmussen said. “We’re very proud to be able to print these shirts right here in Marshfield all while benefitting a local entity.”

The homecoming football game will be played against Wausau West on September 24 at 7 p.m.

Marshfield High School English teacher Tanya Kumm said the shirts help show unity and pride in their hometown.

“The idea has been for all classes to have the same t-shirt to bring the student body together and promote a spirit of unity and hometown pride which is the purpose of homecoming,” Kumm said. “The order form asks students to identify which class they are in so that we can funnel the proceeds back to the class funds.”

The homecoming fundraiser helps students pay for class events like homecoming, prom, and the senior class trip. According to Kumm, some classes have donated money back to the school through various projects or initiatives for school improvement.
