Portage County Driver Pulled Over Going 134 MPH

OnFocus – Last week, a motorist was clocked at 134 mph along WIS 54 near Plover in Portage County. The speed limit is 65-mph in that stretch of highway.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the driver’s excuse was he thought his speedometer was off. Citations were issued for excess speed and reckless driving.

The speed violation (134/65) is $515 and six points off a driver’s license. Reckless Driving is $389.50 and six points off.
