Halftime: 27-19 Port Edwards
The first half saw Port Edwards jump out to a 22-9 lead.  But Nekoosa was able to cut into that lead as the Blackhawks went into the locker room at the half up only 8, 27-19.   In the second half  Port Edwards was able to stay hot on the offensive end as they outscored the Papermakers 17-6 during the first 8 minutes of the final stana to lead 44-25 at the 10:25 mark.     But again Nekoosa made a run closing the gap to just 10 points with about 3 and a half minutes left in the game.  Port Edwards ran into some foul trouble as 3 players fouled out down the stretch.  But the Blackhawks were able to hold on to the victory winning 55-45.    Melanie Sillars of Port Edwards led all scorers with 21 points with  teammate Taylor Martin adding 19 points.  Nekoosa was led by Kaelyn Chasenah with 16 points, while Kiya Kolo chipped in 14  points.
