Police Shut Down Main Street in Loyal

Law enforcement have closed down Main Street in Loyal from Spring Street to E. Central St. and posted a detour.

A man who fled on foot after a police chase yesterday evening is reported to be located at his residence. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has been attempting to locate Robert E. Domine after he ran into a wooded area at CTH Z and Sherwood Road. Domine displayed a handgun and was still believed to be armed.

Update 2:25: Loyal School District has issued a lockdown until further notice. No one is allowed in or out of the building. The issue is not at the school.

Update 3:10: Students who drive or take the bus will be dismissed. Those who drive will be given directions. Children who walk need to be picked up in the high school gym through the west doors.
