OnFocus – Wausau Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating 39-year-old John W Dick (pictured). John is a registered sex offender and lives in transitional housing near the Marathon County Courthouse.
Last evening, John removed his GPS bracelet and his current whereabouts are unknown.
John’s offense history includes second-degree sexual assault of a child. John reached his mandatory release date from his prison sentence and was placed on intensive supervision in December of 2020.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
If you know of John Dick’s whereabouts, please do not approach. Rather, notify law enforcement by calling Marathon County Dispatch at 715-261-7795.
