5.23.19 at 1536: A man who is staying in Marshfield reported to police that he noticed damage to the rear bumper of his rental vehicle. He could not be sure where it happened but stated that it happened at one of two businesses in Marshfield. He was notified by a co-worker about the damage to the rental vehicle. The officer called one of the locations to see if they have cameras that could have captured the incident. The other business does not have cameras in the parking lot. There was no paint transfer on the bumper, and the complainant denies backing into anything.

5.23.19 at 1317: A Marshfield woman called to report that a 23-year-old Marshfield male was making concerning statements that made her fearful. She stated that the threats were coming from a male ex-co-worker who had recently been fired. She had heard third hand that he was “coming after her”. She also received a voice message, which while most was undecipherable, stated “…completely f— dead.” She believed the male was responsible for the voice message as well. The responding officer did call the number back and it belongs to a company. The officer also spoke to the male and he stated that his words were taken out of context. He said that he was going after the company and those responsible for the firing in a lawsuit. He was warned to have no further contact with the victim.

5.22.19 at 2234: Complainant reported that his significant other, a 45-year-old Marshfield woman, was consuming a substance he believed to be methamphetamine. The female denied any substance use, as they have a 4-year-old son together who was present but sleeping during the incident. A search warrant was drafted and granted. Drug Paraphernalia was found that tested positive for methamphetamine. The female was taken into custody and transported to Wood County Jail. Charges will be sent to the Wood County D.A.

5.22.19 at 1941: As a result of a traffic stop, a 27-year-old Minneapolis man was taken into custody for felony bail jumping. The male was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking procedures and later transported to the Wood County Jail.

5.22.19 at 1524 (Reported): An employee of a local trucking company reported that a 32-year-old former employee of the same company had taken money from the company and has since had no contact with that employee. Based on the information provided by the complainant, a request for charges regarding financial card crime was completed and forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s office.

5.21.19 at 2341: Marshfield officers located an 18-year-old Marshfield male and a 14-year-old Marshfield female at a local grocery store, where it was learned that the male was in violation of his bond per an open Wood County case that required him to not have contact with the female. The male was arrested for Bail Jumping and was transported to the Wood County Jail. Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping charges will be requested through the Wood County D.A.’s office.

5.21.19 at 1958: Two Marshfield women reported receiving multiple phone calls from an unknown male in which he had been swearing at them and threatening to drive his vehicle through the front doors due to payment issues. The women both said they do not know who the male was or how to contact him. A report was filed for informational purposes.

5.21.19 at 1543: A Marshfield woman reported that she had been contacted by a Michigan debt collection agency. She was told that she owed money to the collection company. She also stated that there was no possible way that she could have acquired the debt and believes her personal information was taken. Investigation will continue.

5.20.19 at 2014: A traffic stop was conducted at the listed date and time in the 1700 block of N Central Ave, involving a 31-year-old Marshfield male. The male was arrested for Operating While Revoked (Due to Alcohol). Due to an open Marathon County case, a charge of Bail Jumping will be requested through the Wood County D.A.’s office.

5.19.19 at 1648: A 32-year-old male temporarily residing in the City of Marshfield was taken into custody at a location in Marshfield for a valid Department of Corrections Warrant. In addition to the warrant, Taylor County also requested that the male be taken into custody based on Probable Cause for an incident that happened in their jurisdiction the night before. The male was taken into custody, transported to the Marshfield PD, and then transported to Colby, where he was transferred to a Taylor County Deputy.

5.19. 19 at 1240: A Marshfield man reported that he could smell burnt marijuana in the hallway of his apartment complex. As a result of an investigation, a 57-year-old Marshfield man was issued a citation for drug paraphernalia and a 28-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for Possession of THC subsequent offense, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Felony Bail Jumping, in reference to Marshfield PD case number 19-4264. The 28-year-old was brought to the Marshfield PD, booked and then taken to Wood County Jail. A request for charges will be sent to the D.A.’s office.

5.19.19 at 1215: A 47-year-old Marshfield woman called to report receiving numerous text messages from her estranged husband, who she is currently going through a divorce with. The woman stated that she no longer wants contact with him unless it is through their attorneys’. Attempt to contact the 52-year-old Marshfield man resulted in a detailed voicemail message explaining to cease all contact or he may receive a citation. No further action was taken.

5.18.19 at 1710: A Marshfield woman reported that her husband, a 30-year-old Marshfield man, created a disturbance by yelling and breaking items throughout their house. Officers contacted both parties and the complainant stated that she did not observe her husband break anything, but it sounded like he was. It was discovered that nothing was damaged, and the husband was collecting his stuff so he could leave. Both parties were separated for the night.

5.18.19 at 1600: A Marshfield woman called stating that her 28-year-old daughter and 37-year-old son-in-law were verbally arguing at her residence. After further investigation, the 37-year-old Chili man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Domestic-Related. The man was transported to the Marshfield PD for booking procedures. The man was able to post the $150 bond and was provided a court date. He was released on his own recognizance.

5.18.19 at 1321: A traffic stop was conducted at 16th Street and South Central on the stated date and time. During this traffic stop, K9 Rika alerted officers to the presence of a controlled substance within the stopped vehicle. A search was completed, and illegal items were located. A 37-year-old Neillsville man was arrested for Possession of THC (2nd offense) and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance. He was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures and then was transported to Wood Co Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County D.A.’s office.

5.18.19 at 0410: A Marshfield woman stated at the listed date and time she heard banging on her front door. She then heard banging on her side door and on several of her windows. She also heard someone forcefully open the storm door, which was locked, and heard someone attempt to open the front doorknob. She stated that this continued for about 20 minutes. She believes there were at least two people, because she could hear back and forth talking. The storm door did not receive any damage. The responding officer walked around the house and did not notice anything unusual. She is asking for extra patrol in the early morning hours.

5.18.19 at 0300: At the stated date and time a 24-year-old female caused a disturbance with two other females at a bar in Marshfield. The 24-year-old spit and slapped a 38-year old female in the face, and then punched a 21-year-old victim in the face 3 times. The 24-year-old was taken into custody, booked and transported to Wood County Jail.

5.18.19 at 0210: A Marshfield woman called to report that her vehicle was damaged in a parking lot at a bar located in Marshfield. Her vehicle sustained scratches and dents to the hood. A 24-year-old female is believed to have caused the damage following a physical altercation that occurred at the same bar earlier that night. Investigation is to continue.

5.18.19 at 0120: A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on two counts of delivery of cocaine. The man was placed in handcuffs, searched, and transported to the Marshfield PD for booking. A P.B.T. was administered during the ordeal, which resulted in a reading of 0.012. A probation hold was placed on him by probation/parole. The man was transported to Wood County Jail.

5.17.19: A 54-year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody for a probation violation in the 300 block of W Kalsched street. The male was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures and later transported to Wood County Jail.
