4.18.19 at 1959 (reported): A 32 year-old MN man continues to text both complainants. Both complainants asked the man to stop and the man did stop texting the 19 year-old woman. The man continue texting the 42 year-old man even after the complainant told him he was going to the police. The man texted him at least 13 times after being told to stop. The man was called by an officer and was warned to stop texting the complainant or he would be issued a citation. The man agreed. He was warned to no longer have contact with the suspect and he agreed as well.

4.18.19 at 1247: A woman reported that a 35 year-old Marshfield woman had failed to show up for her last two appointments and was concerned for her welfare. Contact was made with the female. The female indicated that she had been sick and forgot about the appointments. The female was taken into custody on a Wood County warrant for failure to fill out a juror questionnaire and appear before the judge. The female was transported for the Wood County Jail.

4.17.19 at 1947: A 40 year-old Marshfield man and a 35 year-old Marshfield woman were taken into custody following a disturbance at the above location. The man was transported to the Wood County Jail for violating the condition of his probation and the woman posted bond for a charge of disorderly conduct. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

4.16.19 at 1530: A woman reported receiving a prop $100 bill for payment on a utility bill from a 44 year-old Hewitt male. Contact was made with the suspect. A request for charges will be filed with the Wood County District Attorney’s Office Wood County Probation Agent.

4.16.19 at 2147: The complainant reported a 22 year-old Marshfield man was in possession of suspected marijuana. Investigation is ongoing.

4.14.19 at 0247: A 32 year-old Marshfield man contacted a man and woman who have a restraining order against him. Officers believed the man was also in the vicinity of the residence but could not locate him. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

4.14.19 at 1016: A 29 year-old man contact police requesting that officers make contact with a 49 year-old Marshfield man who has sent inappropriate text messages to his phone. He stated he has told the male to leave him alone and has also attempted to block him with his phone. Contact has been attempted numerous times with no success. The officer will continue to attempt contact.

4.14.19 at 1630: A 32 year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody for OWI 3 and resisting arrest after a complaint was received of his drinking and driving. Upon completing the OWI process paperwork, the male was later transported and released to the custody of the Wood County Jail. Charges of OWI 3 and resisting arrest will be sought through the Wood County DA’s Office.

4.12.19 at 1006 (reported): Complainant reported finding profane graffiti located within the walls of the pedestrian tunnel near the 100 block of N. Oak Ave. Department extra patrol form was filled out.

4.12.19 at 1800: A woman reported she believes an unknown individual removed the back license place from her vehicle. Video footage was observed and no suspects were seen tampering with the vehicle. It is unable to be determined if the rear plate was already removed before the time in question. No known suspects at this time.

4.12.19 at 1254: A 70 year-old woman reported that her neighbors began yelling and swearing at her for no reason while she was out on her back patio. Contact was made with the neighbors and they reported that they had been shoveling snow off of the patio when the woman came out and began yelling and calling them names. Both parties were warned not to have any further contact with each other. The neighbors will be moving in a few weeks.

4.10.19 at 1303: A man contacted police after he received a letter in the mail from the Department of Transportation indicating that a duplicate drivers license request had been submitted in his name. Contact was made with the DOT fraud unit who froze the account and will be sending him further information in the mail to help guide him with this process. DOT will also be sending the officer information regarding the possible suspect.
