Marshfield Police Department Reports

8.22.19 at 0911: Officers assisted at a residence during a probation contact. A search was conducted, and a 20-year-old Marshfield male was arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft. A Probation Hold was placed on the male and he was transported to Wood County Jail. Charges were requested through the Wood County DA’s office.

8.22.19: A 21-year-old Marshfield woman was taken into custody in the 1400 block of S Washington Ave for a Probation Warrant. She was transported to the Wood County Jail.

8.22.19: A 23-year-old Marshfield male was arrested in the 800 block of E 4^th Street for a valid Marshfield PD warrant. The male was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures and then released after posting bond.

8.20.19: A woman was arrested in the 1000 block of S Severns Ave in Marshfield on an extraditable warrant out of the state of Iowa. She was booked at Marshfield PD, and after booking procedures was taken to Wood County Jail.

8.19.19 at 1656 (Reported): The victim, a Marshfield woman, reported that her 20-year-old ex-boyfriend from Black River Falls, called, texted, and Snapchatted her 213 times between 8.7.19 and the reported date. She had since blocked him on social media and by telephone. She no longer wants contact from the man and told him so the beginning of July 2019. The man was called and spoken to during which he denied having contacted her at all. The man agreed not to have any further contact with the woman, as that is her wish. The victim was satisfied with him only receiving a verbal warning at this time.

8.19.19 at 1530: A Marshfield woman reported that she had just witnessed a younger male assault another male, from Marshfield, near the intersection of 8^th Street and Cedar Ave. The woman stated the man who had done the hitting was in his late teens or early 20’s, bigger build, and wearing shorts and a t-shirt. The male who was assaulted was transported to MMC for his injuries by Marshfield Ambulance. Investigation to continue.

8.19.19 at 1405: A 19-year-old Greenwood male was stopped for not wearing his seat belt and for a crack in his windshield. After the traffic stop was complete, the officer asked for his consent to search his vehicle. Consent was granted from the driver. THC and Drug Paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle. The 19-year-old was arrested, booked and released. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

8.19.19 at 1145: The owner of a funeral home in Marshfield reported that a homeowner on the adjacent property had dug up a pipe used for drainage. The neighbor reported that he had not dug up the drainage pipe, but stated he believed the pipe was on his property. The drainage pipe in question is very close to the property line. Both parties believe the pipe is on their property. Each party was told to have their properties surveyed.

8.19.19 at 0954: The complainant, a Marshfield woman, reported repeated presence of a drone near and above her residence being operated by a 55-year-old Marshfield man. In discussion with the male, he advised his intents were not consistent with any violation of the law and he indicated his understanding of the complainant’s concern. He said he would speak with her to ensure there are no future concerns.

8.18.19 at 0701: A 36-year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody in the 100 block of S Central Ave on a valid Marshfield PD warrant. The male was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, and was out on bond with three open cases (1 Misdemeanor and 2 Felonies). He was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures and then to Wood County Jail.

8.17.19 at 1406: A traffic stop was conducted in the 1400 block of S Maple Ave, where K9 Rika indicated the odor of a controlled substance coming from the vehicle. A search was conducted, and Drug Paraphernalia was found. A 32-year-old Marshfield female and a 38-year-old Marshfield man were both taken into custody. A probation hold was placed on both subjects and they were transported to Wood County Jail.

8.17.19: A 26-year-old Arpin man was taken into custody for three Wood County warrants subsequent to a traffic stop in Wildwood Zoo. The man was transported to Marshfield PD where booking procedures were completed. He was able to post bond and was released.

8.16.19: A 51-year-old Marshfield woman was arrested in the 1100 block of 1st Street in Marshfield, for a valid MDPD warrant. She was unable to post bond and was transported to Wood County Jail.

8.16.19: A 20-year-old Marshfield man was arrested on a probation hold at his residence. The man was transported to Marshfield PD for booking and later transported by DOC agents to Wood County Jail.

8.15.19 at 1323: As a result of a traffic stop, a 57-year-old Marshfield male was taken into custody for violating a Domestic Abuse Injunction. The male was transported to Marshfield PD for booking procedures, then to Wood County Jail.
