Police Reports: Valid Warrant and a Stolen Wallet

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – December 31

A 53-year-old Marshfield woman reported receiving harassing telephone calls from a 54 year old Marshfield man. The man is currently incarcerated in the Wood County Jail. The woman did not wish to have further contact from the man. The woman’s number was blocked from the jail. The man’s probation officers was contacted and a no-contact provision was requested.

A traffic stop was conducted by Police. It was found the driver, a 25 year-old Marshfield man had a valid DOC Warrant. The 25 year-old was identified by prior police contact. The male was arrested then transported to Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures, then to Wood County Jail.

Officers were called to Serenity Living for a 55-year-old Marshfield man who was being disruptive. A 36-year-old Marshfield man reported that the man was not following the house rules, smoking in the residence, and arguing with staff. The 36-year-old man added that the man charged at him and another staff member putting other residents at risk. The man was ultimately transported to hospital at the staff’s request.

January 1

A physical altercation was reported. One of the parties involved left the scene prior to Police arrival. The party was later identified as 21 year-old Marshfield male. It was found that the 21 year-old male was in violation of Probation & Parole rules specifying the male not be in establishments serving alcohol. A copy of this report will be forwarded to Probation & Parole.

An unknown vehicle left the roadway on Upham St in front of Quality Inn. The vehicle struck a telephone box #6239 and a No Parking Sign. There are no suspects. Hotel staff reported the damage had happened sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. There are no known witnesses or video.

January 5

A 20-year-old Marshfield man reported that an unknown person removed his wallet from an unlocked locker in the men’s locker room at the YMCA in Marshfield without his permission. There are no suspects at this time.
