Police Reports: Stratford Woman Arrested For 5th OWI

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – March 18

Officers conducted a warrant check at a Marshfield address. A Marshfield male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Drug paraphernalia was also located on scene. The male was transported to the Wood County Jail for his warrant and a probation hold. Charges for possession of drug paraphernalia will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

March 19

A 51-year-old Marshfield male reported to an officer that a vehicle backed into the rear of his Kia causing damage. He gave no person(s) permission to damage his vehicle. The officer took photographs of the damage. At this time, the officer has no suspect vehicles. No surveillance cameras were in the area. A case number was provided to the man for insurance purposes.

March 20

Officer Maxson performed a traffic stop on a vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver, a 36-year-old Stratford female for OWi (5th). After further investigation the passenger, a 43-year-old Stratford male was in violation of bond for an open case through Wood County. Charges will be requested on the male through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for Bail Jumping Misdemeanor.

A 23-year-old Marshfield man reported his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend had broken into his girlfriends apartment and a physical altercation occurred. Contact was made with all parties involved and officers determined that a physical altercation did occur and the victim’s phone was damaged during the altercation. Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A 38-year-old Marshfield man requested assistance in removing individuals staying in the a Marshfield location because of suspected drug activity. Contact was made with a male and female from the room and they were taken into custody for active warrants and controlled substance violations. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

March 23

An 18-year-old Greenwood woman reported her vehicle was parked in a legal parking spot at Target. The woman observed a 50-year-old Loyal male pull into a parking spot in front of her vehicle and strike her vehicle. The woman stated the male did not get out and look for damage and did not leave his name and information before he left. The damage to the woman’s vehicle consisted of scrapes and a cut to the front bumper. An officer spoke with the woman’s father and he stated he would be willing to work something out with the Loyal male. The officer spoke with the Loyal male and he stated he thought he might have struck the vehicle but didn’t believe he did. He stated he would be willing to pay for any damages he caused. The father of the woman and the Loyal male exchanged information. There is Target video of the incident.

A 27-year-old Marshfield woman reported her ex-husband, a 30-year-old Marshfield man, came home and they began arguing. During the verbal disturbance the male threw the clothes hamper, scattering the clothes and then left. The woman stated she was not fearful of the male party. Officers searched the area and continued to call the male but ultimately were unable to locate him.

March 25

A 41-year-old Marshfield woman contacted police on behalf of her daughter and reported her daughter had lost $700 while at MMC Urgent care. The woman’s daughter believes she lost it in the bathroom. MMC Security was contacted and made aware of the incident. Information will be reviewed by police if available.

A 22-year-old Marshfield man reported a grill stolen from his storage locker in the basement of a Marshfield location. The man reported he had a lock on his locker that was missing as well. The grill was brand new in the box and was last seen approximately six months ago when he placed it in the locker. The man did not have any suspects and did not give anyone permission to take the grill. There is no video surveillance in the area.

March 26

A juvenile reported a domestic disturbance between his mother and a 36-year-old Marshfield male at a residence. Officers located the male hiding in the residence, he was resistive with officers and he was taken into custody. The male was out on bond referencing an open Wood County case. He was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking and then to the Wood County jail.
