  • 12.11.18 at 15:50: The complainant reported being involved in a physical disturbance with a 26 year-old Marshfield female with whom he has a child in common. The female left the residence prior to police arriving and her whereabouts were unknown. Charges will be requested on the female through the Wood County DA’s Office.
  • 12.11.18 at 17:02: A pizza restaurant reported receiving an order with a message for a welfare check at a Marshfield location. The area and each apartment were checked and no event as described was found. A vehicle leaving the scene during the investigation was stopped and the driver was taken into custody for possession of THC. The driver was a 30 year-old Marshfield male.
  • 12.11.18 at 22:17: A 25 year-old Marshfield woman called dispatch to report a disturbance at the listed location. The listed vehicle had an unknown white vehicle bump the rear bumper while stopping at Maple/Veterans. A 24 year-old Neillsville man, who was a passenger in the struck vehicle, got out and confronted the driver of the striking vehicle. The unknown driver punched him in the mouth as he came up to the driver’s side window, then proceeded to drive away. The 24 year-old did not want anything pursued regarding the incident and no damages on either vehicle from the slight bumper tap. Area was checked for suspect vehicle.
  • 12.10.18 at 15:28: Wood County Human Services received a report outlining concerns that a 30 year-old Marshfield male and a 27 year-old Marshfield female were involved in a physical altercation at the residence in the presence of their children. Contact was made with both parties at their residence and they both admitted to playful wrestling but not abusive behavior. The male was taken into custody for a probation violation and transported to the Wood County Jail.
  • 12.10.18 (reported): Victim reported that a tire she replaced was later found with a puncture in the side. Victim does not have any suspects but wanted the incident documented in the event incidents continue to occur.
  • 12.09.18 at 15:04: A man advised over the past 3-4 weeks people have been taking items out of the above listed address. He stated that on 12/9 he observed a male party load up items from the house into a black Chevy truck. A POP form has been created and further investigation is needed.
  • 12.08.18 at 13:15: An officer was dispatched to a driving complaint in which a vehicle ran a red traffic light at a high rate of speed, almost striking the caller. The caller followed the suspect vehicle to a E. 29th St. address. Observations made at the scene led to a search warrant being drafted and executed. Ultimately a 45 year-old Marshfield man was taken into custody for multiple drug offenses. The man was transported to MPD for booking, then to the Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
  • 12.07.18 at 21:30: A 43 year-old Marshfield female was arrested for disorderly conduct after creating a disturbance during an underage drinking party she was hosting at the above location. Two juveniles were cited for underage drinking and released to their parents. The female was brought to MPD for booking and transported to WOSO jail. A request for charges will be sent to the DA’s office on the Female for D.C., Resisting/Obstructing, and Habitual Criminality. She was also issued a procuring citation.
  • 12.07.18 at 16:48: A 43 year-old Marshfield man contacted police after the mother of his child, a 46 year-old Marshfield woman, refused to leave his property. Officers made contact with the woman and found that the woman was on bond for a previous arrest and she also had to follow a CHIPS petition for contact with her daughter. Officers spoke with DHS and found that the woman was violating the CHIPS petition by refusing to leave the property. The woman was arrested, transported to the MPD for booking and was then taken to the WOSO Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.
