2.14.20 at 1403
A Marshfield woman reported that a 39-year-old Marshfield woman violated conditions of her bond by having a text messaging conversation with her fourteen-year-old son. Officers were not able to make contact with the female. A probable cause form was completed for Felony Bail Jumping for when contact is made.

2.14.20 at 1530
A 21-year-old Marshfield male reported that a compound bow was missing from his residence after a 50-year-old Marshfield female spent the night. The female was later found in possession of the item and taken into custody. She was transported to the Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures and released after meeting the misdemeanor bond screening.

2.14.20 at 2116
Officers responded to N. Vine Ave. after receiving a call from a Marshfield woman. Ultimately a 24-year-old Marshfield male was arrested. Charges for 4th Degree Sexual Assault, Battery (x2), Resisting an Officer, Disorderly Conduct, and Bail Jumping will be requested through the Wood County DA’s office against the male.

2.15.20 at 2108
Officers were dispatched to a local hotel. Staff was requesting a welfare check on a 9-year-old after staff felt there was odd behavior, including possible drug use. Officers discovered that the 40-year-old woman who was renting the room had active warrants through Wood County and the Department of Corrections. Officers made contact at the room and ensured the child was safe. The 40-year-old woman was taken into custody. She was transported to MDPD for booking. She was then taken to Wood County Jail.

2.15.20 at 2008
An apartment manager reported a 50-year-old male was trespassing at the apartment complex. The male also had a probation rule to avoid the complex. Contact was made with the male who confirmed he was not allowed at the building. The male was taken into custody, booked and transported to Wood County Jail.

2.18.20 at 1447
It was reported that a male was seen using illegal substances while operating a motor vehicle. Police made contact with the male. He was arrested and taken to Marshfield Police Department for booking procedures and later transported to Wood County Jail.

2.18.20 at 1627
A 31-year-old Marshfield man was arrested for domestic battery, domestic disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property at a residence. The man was transported to MPD for booking; he signed the conditional release contact prohibition agreement form, and posted the required bond. The victim did not sign the waiver of domestic abuse contact prohibition form. The man was released without incident. The woman has agreed to stay at an alternative location during the 72-hours following his arrest to allow him to stay at their home. A request for charges is being forwarded to the Wood County District attorney’s office.

2.18.20 at 2228
It was reported that a 58-year-old Marshfield male caused a disturbance at a business. The male later called the complainant and made threats towards his safety. Charges are being requested on the male through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
