Police Reports: Stolen Garden Wagon

November 20

Probation and Parole requested officers assist them in taking a 21 y/o Marshfield male into custody for a DOC warrant at the above location. The male was placed in custody and transported to Marshfield Police Department where he was later transferred into the custody of the Probation and Parole agents and transported to Wood County Jail.

November 21

Crisis Intervention has been receiving repeated phone calls which appear to be from a Los Angeles, CA male who is expressing suicidal and homicidal ideation during illicit drug use over the past few days. The have contacted LAPD and repeatedly attempted to transfer him to LA area crisis networks without success.

November 22

On the above date and time a woman reported child custody issues. She has an 8 year-old child that was ordered to quarantine by Immanuel Lutheran School. According to her, the child’s father is refusing to abide by the quarantine, and plans on picking up the child on 11-23-2020 after work. She contacted the Wood County Health Department for direction and has not yet heard back. She was advised to act in the direction of the Health Department.

A Cedar Avenue resident reported that sometime between the above hours her steel garden wagon with three bottles of spray paint was stolen out of her backyard while she was on a walk. She has no suspects, and has not noticed anyone suspicious walking her alley lately. A neighborhood canvas was conducted to look for the wagon on near by properties, but was unsuccessful.

November 23

A man called stating he has not heard from his sister in a while and knows she struggles with alcohol abuse. Officers made contact with the 56 year-old female and everything was okay. Female was in good spirits and given resources if she would need them in the future. Family members were contacted. No further action taken.
