The water feature at Wenzel Family Plaza will be turned off beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11 in order to apply a concrete sealant to protect the surface and provide extra traction against potential slips.
The coating didn’t arrive in time for the July grand opening and will now be applied as long as weather cooperates. The water feature will be available for use at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 15 once the sealing cures, said Mark Davis, Plaza Event Coordinator.
A popular feature of the Plaza, the water feature will likely stay open until October.
