Pittsville took a win over Athens on their home court, holding them off until the end 68-60.
The Panther’s record is now 18-6 and they will move on to the Regional Finals at Almond-Bancroft on Saturday, March 8th.
Ford was the lead scorer for Pittsville with 23 followed by Penney and Diedrich with 12.
Athens is now done for the season with a record of 18-6.
