MAPS Pet of the Week: Ripley

Marshfield Area Pet Shelter Pet of the Week

Submitted by a Marshfield Area Pet Shelter Volunteer

Ripley came to the shelter in very tough shape. After a couple baths and much needed TLC, he has turned out to be a diamond in the rough. He is a sweet, gentle giant looking for nothing but love and kindness. Unfortunately he has FIV, most likely from a deep bite wound while living on the streets. FIV is a disease that can affect the immune system, but FIV cats can live a long and healthy life. If you would like to learn more about our very special Ripley or have questions about FIV, please give MAPS a call and speak with our shelter manager Kaitlin.

If interested in adopting, please visit the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter’s Adoption Center located across from Furniture & ApplianceMart inside Marshfield Mall from 4:30pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 11am-2pm.
