MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) will host its popular Paws & Pancakes Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, November 6 from 8:00am-11:30am at Hotel Marshfield (2700 S Central Ave).

“This year we are hoping to raise $20,000 from the event,” said MAPS Executive Director Karen Rau. “With the rising costs of everything including medical supplies, veterinary expenses and utilities, it is more important than ever for people to attend our event and support our animals. We have seen a significant number of animal intakes this summer and without the support of our community, our lifesaving work would not be impossible.”

Attendees will enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, breakfast potatoes, cinnamon rolls, applesauce, coffee, orange juice and milk donated by Nasonville Dairy. There will also be other fun opportunities to help support local animals including over 30 beautiful raffle baskets, 50/50 raffles and MAPS t-shirts for sale.

Funds raised at the breakfast help support the day-to-day expenses of caring for approximately 500 animals a year at MAPS located at 3500 Downwind Drive in Marshfield. Thanks to the generous support of the local community, homeless animals are reunited with their owners or adopted into new forever homes.

All tickets are sold at the door: Adults, $15.00. Children ages 4-12, $5.00. Children under 4 years old eat free.
