After five years, Papagalos will be closing on North Central Ave. in Marshfield.
The drive-through restaurant offering a “taste of Chicago” and Greek cuisine will be moving to Wausau at 1027 E. Grant Ave. and will close this week once inventory is depleted.
The owner was unable to be reached by publication time. In a Facebook post, the owner stated, “During the last five years Papagalos has been in Marshfield, we have had the pleasure to provide a different choice and quality dining experience.
“Initially, I felt our menu would have been better received than it was. Also, my intention of opening a restaurant was to provide a income for my three daughters and myself. This has never been the case, as I have always had to have another source of income to support us. So with that said, again I want to thank our customers that enjoyed our food.”
