Pancakes or Waffles? Marshfield’s Brooklyn Boushack Answers the Tough Questions

Marshfield (OnFocus) – Marshfield Tigers Volleyball experienced tremendous success this fall, and a significant contributor and instrumental force behind the Tigers’  9-4 record and WVC Championship was senior hitter Brooklyn Boushack. Boushack received First Team All-WVC honors, and received Honorable Mention All State by the State Volleyball Coaches Association.

We take a look at the multi-sport athlete with the world-famous interview that concludes with the all-important question we all want to know:  Pancakes or Waffles?

OnFocus: What classes are you taking this year?

Boushack: This year I am taking health career connections, English Composition, math 107 and 118, AP Economics, and Dual Sports.

OnFocus: What is your favorite class?

Boushack:  My favorite class is Health Career Connections because I get to job shadow different medical fields around my community my first two hours everyday which is preparing me for my future.

OnFocus: What are your hobbies?

Boushack:  My hobbies are hiking, working out, skiing, doing crafts, and volunteering.

OnFocus: Who is/was your favorite teacher?

Boushack:  Mrs.Dargenio is my favorite teacher as she always makes learning fun and interesting.

OnFocus: What is the most unusual food you have eaten?

Boushack:  The most unusual food I’ve tried is pupusas in El Salvador.

Boushack:  My favorite class is Health Career Connections because I get to job shadow different medical fields around my community my first two hours everyday which is preparing me for my future.

OnFocus: What is your favorite music to listen to?

Boushack:  My favorite music to listen to is country music.

OnFocus: What are your plans after high school?

Boushack:  After high school I plan to attend a four year university and plan on majoring as a child life specialist.

OnFocus: If they made a movie about you, and your life,  what would it be called?

Boushack:  Endless Adventures.

OnFocus: What sports do you play?

Boushack:  I play volleyball, curling, and track.

OnFocus: Which teammate would you not want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Boushack:  I would not want to be stranded with Alani because I think she would be scared the entire time which would not help the situation.

OnFocus: What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?

Boushack:  My most memorable moment was having the game winning single block kill against Wisconsin Rapids this year.

OnFocus: Who is your favorite athlete?

Boushack:  My favorite athlete is Izzy Ashburn from the Wisconsin Badgers Volleyball.

OnFocus: What do you enjoy most about playing home games?

Boushack:  My favorite thing about home games is the big student section and the thrill of all the Marshfield fans supporting you at game time.

OnFocus: What’s the best thing about being a student-athlete at Marshfield Area Senior High?

Boushack:  The best thing about being a student-athlete is waiting every day to get back in the gym with your family and work hard.

OnFocus: What words of wisdom can you give to other student-athletes?

Boushack:   I would give other student-athletes the advice of the work you put in is the outcome you should expect, and work hard every day in the offseason.

OnFocus: Lastly, pancakes or waffles?

Boushack:  Pancakes.
