Iola (OnFocus) – The Pacelli Cardinals used big plays to jump out to a 21-0 lead going into the fourth quarter and picked up a 29-12 win over Iola-Scandinavia.
Three Cardinals produced big plays to give Pacelli their early lead. Nick Schroeder scored on a 80 yard run in the opening quarter.
Second quarter long touchdown runs by Drew Kedrowicz(75 yards) and Bryce Cashin (67 yards) added to the Pacelli lead.
Brock Birrenkott capped off the Cardinals’ scoring with an 18 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Three Cardinals topped the 100 yard rushing mark:
- Cashin – 10 for 147 yards
- Kedrowicz – 11 for 115 yards
- Schroeder – 10 for 113 yards
