Stevens Point (OnFocus) – The Pacelli Boys Cross Country is ready to head to The Ridges Golf Course on Saturday for the State Cross Country Meet, and we caught up with Pacelli Head CC Coach

1.  What have been the keys for your team’s successful journey to state?
Setting goals and achieving them. Practice with a purpose, have fun and enjoy every moment of the season.
2. How are you approaching practice this week as you prepare for the state meet?
Only have 6 runners so, being healthy and fresh legs on the physical side. Mental side, believe in yourself, your teammates, trust your training and understand the opportunity in front of you.
3.  How has fan support been important for your team’s runners this year?
It has been awesome and comforting see family members cheering you on and helping you run your best knowing there will be a huge and pat on the back when done whatever the results are. So much positive support.
4. What do you see as the keys to be successful at The Ridges on Saturday?
Run with confidence, smarts, toughness and leave it all out on the course.
