OnFocus Athlete of the Week Nominees, August 22 – August 28

Cooper Diedrich, Athens Football – Diedrich had touchdown runs of 41, 18, 56 and 75 yards for the Bluejays in their 36-0 shutout win over Owen-Withee. Diedrich picked up 248 yards on just 11 carries.

Riley Warzynski, SPASH Football (nominated online) – The Panthers’ quarterback  had touchdown throws of 52, 17, 38 and 19 yards in the first quarter and added a fifth for 47 yards in the second quarter, as SPASH handled Superior, 43-0.  Warzynski netted a sixth touchdown with a 17 yard run in the second quarter.

Conner Krach, Newman Catholic Football – Krach completed 7 of 10 passes for 195 yards and 4 touchdowns, and ran for another in Newman’s 48-6 trouncing of Bruce to open the season.
