William M. Seubert of the township of McMillan was welcomed into his heavenly home on Thursday, November 6, 2025. After a lifetime of anticipation, he was greeted with open arms by God the Father (his greatest ally and friend), his hero and savior Jesus Christ, and his wife Rita. What a truly awesome day for him. I can confidently say there is no place he would rather be and nothing he has ever wanted more.

Bill was born on October 20, 1951, in the town of Marshfield to Cecelia Seubert. He attended school in Marshfield and later graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1969. He was married to Rita Wyman in June of 1971. After graduating, he worked briefly for Trailblazer and Wolf Electric before starting at Land O’Lakes in Spencer where he retired in 2015.

Bill had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed playing and watching pool, spending time with family, and having a few beers with his friends. Bill was a patriot, always keeping up on politics and was sure to write a letter to a politician gone astray (a daunting task). He closely followed economics and the stock market, always looking for the next big move. He was very intelligent and extremely well-read and loved sharing information with anyone who would listen.

He donated graciously to churches, politicians he approved of (there weren’t many), and anyone down on his luck who needed a little help. Bill lived a simple life and never wanted for much. He said, “You don’t have to go very far to have a good time.” He loved to give and hated to receive. He always had great advice for anyone who would ask. Bill loved God and his family very much. His greatest passion in life was studying and spreading God’s word. He would say, “none of this down here matters, this place is just temporary.”

He was my foundation, my moral compass, my greatest confidant and friend. He was my Dad… and he will be greatly missed.

Love you, Dad!

Bill is survived by his son, Travis (Heather) Seubert, grandchildren, Brittany (Matthew) Schueller, Chase Seubert, Rachel Seubert, and Caleb Seubert, and 3 great grandchildren.

He is further survived by his siblings, Janet (Jonathan) Buchler, Richard (Karen) Felton, David (Lori Ress) Felton, Robert (Annette) Felton, Elizabeth Felton, and Barbara (Jonathan) Lokhorst.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Seubert, mother, Cecelia Felton, stepfather, Ray Felton, and father and mother in law, Vernon and Wilma Wyman, and grandparents, William “Bill” and Elizabeth Fischer.

A celebration of life will be held at the Township of McMillan Park Pavilion on Saturday, December 20th at 1:00 pm.
