William H Kasputis I, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Three Oaks in Marshfield, WI.

He was born May 22, 1945 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Son of the late Ivern Hufstedler and Al Kasputis.

Known as Bill to most and Sonny to his southern family, he worked at the Port Edwards paper mill until he retired in 1999. He was also a lieutenant for many years with the Rome Town Fire Department. His handle was Razorback and he would talk for hours on the CB radio. He loved to tinker in his workshop, go fishing, clip coupons, sing, look through his telescope and watch endless hours of wildlife documentaries. He was also involved in ministry for many years and was eager to talk to anyone about the love of Christ. He was quick to smile and to those that knew him, always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He was just one of those people that had never met a stranger. He was easy to love and quick to laugh, he will be greatly missed.
