Robert A. Wolff

Robert A. Wolff, 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. June 6th, 2021, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 until time of service.  The service will be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Rod Figueroa, Jerry Minor, Colby Wolff, Peter Wolff, Chance Wolff, Logan Wolff, and Karsten Wolff.  Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Bob was born on January 6, 1941, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Bessie (Jensen) Wolff.

Bob completed his 1st-12th grade education through the Elkhorn, WI school system.  He attended UW-Whitewater and completed a BS degree in science education.  He also received his Masters degree through UW-Whitewater.  Bob was employed as a biology teacher at the Pittsville school district for 37 years.  He too held positions of athletic director, vice-principal, and teacher mentor at PHS.  He taught at the Mid-State Technical College for many years.  He enjoyed coaching multiple sports and being a play director for the theatre arts program.

Bob was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.  He also was a member of the Pittsville Lions Club, a former member of the Pittsville Fire Department, founder and president of PAFA (Pittsville Foundation of the Arts), Pittsville School Board, and Pittsville’s city council.

Bob enjoyed building model airplanes, tanks, and ships.  He also was interested in woodworking.

He married Bonnie Leigh on August 5, 1967.  He is lovingly survived by his wife, Bonnie, and their children, Rob Wolff of Shawano, WI, Todd (Nicolette) Wolff of Arpin, and Kimberlyn Wolff of Nekoosa, WI.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

A memorial will be established at a later date.
