Peter Anthony Huibregtse, born July 18th, 1954, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday November 25th, 2021. Peter was born in Sheboygan, WI. He was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from UW Milwaukee. He dedicated 33 years of service to the WI Department of Corrections and retired as the Warden of the Wisconsin Secure Program Facility in Boscobel, WI.
His proudest achievement was raising his three daughters and marrying his soulmate, Judy, and proudly becoming the father to her two loving sons.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Henrietta Huibregtse and his father-in-law Richard Dembowski.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Judith Huibregtse, of Marshfield, WI, his children; Teresa (Travis) Bauer, Jamie (Matthew) Erbs, Monica (Timothy) Schaefer, Michael (Sasha) Del Frate, Nicholas Del Frate, mother-in-law Carolyn Dembowski, siblings; Carla (Phillip) Swart, Kenneth (Sherry) Huibregtse, Donald (Mary) Huibregtse, Cathy (Donald) Wittke, Nancy (Frank) Brooks and Richard (Michele) Dembowski. He is also survived by the lights of his life, his 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 am until service time. Rev. Todd Overbo will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery Columbarium, Marshfield.
