Patricia “Trish” M. Backaus, 61, Pittsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021 with her loving husband, Dan, at her side.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Matthew Mallek from Refuge church (Stevens Point) will officiate. The funeral will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.
Trish was born on May 23, 1960 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Lavern and Elizabeth (Hofmann) Immerfall. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High. She worked at V&H Trucks, Inc. for 40 years and took great pride in her job. On July 4, 2007, she was united in marriage to Daniel Backaus in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Trish loved watching Nascar, the Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and local casinos, as well as camping with family and grilling out. She also loved going for her daily walks.
She is survived by her husband, Dan, daughter, Keshia Marie (Cody) Herrington of Port Washington, and her prized puppy, Woody. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeanne (Doug) Gray, Raymond (Shari) Immerfall, Mike (Julaine) Immerfall, Ron (Nancy) Immerfall, Dennis (Linda) Immerfall, Joyce Loiselle, Marilyn (Jon) Immerfall, all of Marshfield, Sue (Gary) Back of Vesper, and Chris Immerfall of Wausau. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth, father, Lavern (Sonny), sister, Janet Immerfall, brother, Jon Immerfall, sister in law, Connie Immerfall, brother in law, James Loiselle, nephew Scott Immerfall, and her beloved “4 legged kids” poodles, Joshy, Monique, and Petie.
