Margaret M. “Peggy” Zuber

Margaret M. “Peggy” Zuber, 72, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 22, 2021, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. James Weighner will officiate. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Margaret was born on February 23, 1948, in Chicago. Her parents were Earl and Eleanor (Marack) Zuber. She married David A. Schug in 1969 and they later divorced.

Peggy loved her family, her grandkids, and dear friends and was an avid bowler, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, gladiolas, and loved the keyboard and Elvis. She had been a 4-H leader.

She is survived by her children, Debra Norks, Lora (Steven) Robinson, John (Charity) Schug, Eleanor (Chris) Stockheimer, David (Becky) Schug. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Megan R. (Kris) Terril, Anthony M. Norks, Rachael F. (Derek) Brown, Ashleigh Robinson, Brandon D. Schug (Andrea) Terrall T. Schug, Colton J. Schug, Julia Stockheimer, Joshua Stockheimer, Cassondra Staples, Ayden Pilsner, and Eli Schug.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Earl Schug, brothers, Robert and Mike Zuber, and her former husband David.

A special thank you to all who helped Peggy through the years and her wonderful friends for being there to lend a hand, an ear, and some wonderful homemade chicken soup which she loved.
