Llewellyn “L.J.”“Randy” Randles, 81, Marshfield, was reunited with the love of his life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home

Randy was born on June 3, 1940 in Marshfield to Lyle and Dolores (Bronstad) Randles. He served in the United States Army from 1959 – 1962 and traveled to France, Iceland, Germany, Korea, and several other countries. He then came back to Marshfield, where he met and married the love of his life, Dawn Mauer. They were united in marriage on November 30, 1963. She passed away on June 7, 2018.

Randy was a very hard worker, never called in sick, and often worked multiple jobs. He worked for Weyerhauser and Marshfield Doors. He also worked for Al Maurer at the Oliver dealership and Ed Klismet repair shop where he serviced all the laundry mats in the area.

Randy enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, going to estate and garage sales, watching war and John Wayne movies, and fixing or inventing items for anyone who needed help. He was able to fix anything and make it look brand new.

Randy will be dearly missed by his two daughters Debra (Ryan) Staudenraus and Judy (Paul) Randles-Schreiner; 7 grandchildren Amber (Chris) Bryant, Sam (Ryan) Hernandez, Elizabeth (Matthew) Turba, Maverick and Radly Staudenraus, Brandon (Sarah) Schreiner and Lesley (Brandon) Duellman; 11 great grandchildren, Dominick and Lillian Bryant, Hank and Brock Hernandez, Barret Staudenraus, James Brian Schreiner, Matthew Schreiner, Haylen Stone, Brantley Duellman and Brayson Duellman, and Elliot Turba. He is further survived by his sister-in-law Karen Haefner. He will also be missed by his close friends and beloved kitty, Snickers, and all the birds, squirrels, and small critters in his area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dawn, granddaughter, Tina Sautner, and sister-in-law, Lynda Andres.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home. A brief service will take place at 11:00 am followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 54 – Marshfield.
