Kim M. Hannan

Kim M. Hannan, 52, Stratford, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, at her home with her loving family at her side, following a long, hard battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 2, 2020, at her home, outdoors, at 216310 County Road M, Stratford, with Rev. Sue Eidahl and Rev. Nancy Zorn-Micke officiating. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday at Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford. A complete obituary can be found at www.rembsfh.com

Kim was born on January 5, 1968, in Marshfield, to Richard and Grace (Fandre) Bue. She was a 1986 graduate of Spencer High School and then a graduate of Computer Programing at North Central Technical College, Wausau. She was united in marriage to Dennis J. Hannan on May 18, 1991, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer.

Kim was always the helping hand anyone could count on. She loved helping with events at church, passing meals, and giving back to her community. Kim had an immense love for volleyball as she played herself and eventually would travel to see her nieces and daughter play college volleyball frequently. Kim loved sports and watching her daughter and son compete. She loved watching her son compete in basketball and track and her daughter in volleyball and track. Kim was an avid music lover, especially Phil Collins, Creed, and Josh Groban. Concerts were her favorite event to attend. In her free time, you could always see her with a Stephen King novel, reading anything from her favorite author. Kim also liked taking drives in the convertible with her husband along the roads of Door County. Kim and Dennis loved to travel with their children on road trips throughout the United States sightseeing and taking in the beautiful country.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis, and their children, Mackenzie (Brett) Walter of Madison and Hunter Hannan of Stratford.

She is also survived by her mother, Grace (William) Kobs of Spencer, her sister, Kelly (Kevin) Korth of Loyal, and her brother, Robert (Linda) Bue of Fort Atkinson. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Rita Hannan of Spencer, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, David (Patricia) Hannan of Spencer, Debra (Dale) Foth of Rome, and Daryl (Suzanne) Hannan of Madison Heights, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Bue, and father-in-law, Robert Hannan.

The family will designate a memorial at a later date.
