Obituary for Jean Bredemann

Jean M. Bredemann, 85, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Richfield with Rev. Daniel Naumann officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Richfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, January 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church and from 12:00 pm until service time on Saturday also at the church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Jean was born on November 9, 1936 in the Town of Washington, Sauk County to Simon and Lydia (Gudenschwager) Hasse. She graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1954. She married Henry “Hank” Bredemann on October 12, 1957 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillpoint. He passed away on October 29, 1998.

Jean loved to crochet and garden. She was also involved with Ladies Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her children: Dale Bredemann (friend Robin) of Pittsville, Gerald Bredemann of Marshfield, Renae (Dennis) Hafenbreadl of Schofield, Carol (Rev. Winfried) Schroeder of La Crescent, MN, Alan Bredemann of Birmingham, AL, Darin (Kristine) Bredemann of Canton, GA, grandchildren: Nicole (Tracy) Gressett, Emily (Peter) Nolte, Benjamin (Stephanie) Schroeder, Rebekah Schroeder, Anna (Jacob) Finke, Elizabeth Schroeder, Lydia Schroeder, Alan Bredemann Jr, and Jessa, Myka, Kiya, and Thea Bredemann, stepgrandson, Mark (Kimberly) Hafenbreadl, great grandchildren: Brianna Doelshal, Makayla Gressett, Jonathan, Samantha, and Silas Nolte, Jack and Harrison Schroeder, and Thomas and Sullivan Finke, step great grandchildren, Andy (Brittney), Austin, Levi, Dakota, Jackson, and Alexia Hafenbreadl, Brittney Hafenbreadl and Afton (Jamel) Reed, and step great great grandchildren: Ralph and Alona Pegues, and Ramya. She is further survived by her sister, Linda (Norm) Dulak, sisters-in-law, Janet Hasse, Carla Hasse, Joyce Rasmussen, Ruth Fox, and Jan Bredemann, and brother-in-law, Charles Bredemann.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law, Ranae Bredemann, step grandson, Kurt Hafenbreadl, brothers, Orlen (Norma) Hasse, Marvin Hasse, Earl Hasse, and several in-laws.
