Jacqueline “Jackie” E. Bushman

Jacqueline “Jackie” E. Bushman, 73, Marshfield, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 10, 2021, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hewitt, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Rayappan Murali Anand will officiate. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Jackie was born on April 27, 1948 in Marshfield, to Theodore and Elsie (Hoffman) Huth, and was a 1966 graduate of Columbus High School. She also was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She was united in marriage to Dennis R. Bushman on November 27, 1971, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hewitt.

Jackie worked as a registered nurse at the Clark County Health Care Center for 35 years until her retirement in 2013. She was a strong, sassy, independent woman who spent many years hauling her children and their friends to fairs, concerts and other trips near and far. She loved plants, flowers, animals, antiques and finding a good deal. Decorating outside for the holidays was one of her favorite things. She was one of the most generous people. If she had it and you needed it, she would give it to you. She tried to look at the good in the bad times. She had a great sense of humor and the best laugh. She loved her family and grandchildren beyond measure. She had a never-failing love for her husband, Denny. They fell just short of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year in November. She leaves a great hole in her family who love her immensely and will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her husband, Denny, and their four children, Jennifer (Bernie) Wenzel of Stratford, Erin (Chad) Bender of Colby, Nicole Bushman, and Nathan Bushman, both of Marshfield. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Kylah, Benno, Kressa, Ava and Teddy Wenzel, Halle and Laney Bender, Rayna and Navaya Ostrander, and Robbie and Maeleah Bushman. She is further survived by a sister, Shirley Huth of Marshfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sister-in-law, Harry and Marian Huth and a brother, Robert Huth in infancy.

A special thank you to her devoted son, Nathan, who helped take care of Mom for many years. She needed you as much as you needed her and what you did for our family was priceless!
