Clarence was born on March 15, 1924 in the Town of Lincoln, Wood County, to Joseph and Mary (Dieringer) Stini. He attended Lone Elm School in the Town of Lincoln. After his education he worked on the family farm until he became employed at Roddis Plywood. He later had various other jobs including Wick Building Systems, where he was a cabinet maker, until his retirement.

He married Agnes H. Schneider on October 8, 1952 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hewitt.

In retirement, Clarence enjoyed woodworking, bicycling, flower gardening and going for walks when he would visit with the neighbors. He loved family gatherings, parties, and polka music, but his greatest joys were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor with a contagious laugh and liked to tell jokes. He will be dearly missed and always loved by those who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Agnes and their daughter, Jan (Cliff) Michalik of Marshfield. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Heidi (Adam) Forst, Melissa (Jeremy) Erickson and Lucas (McKenna) Michalik, and four great grandchildren, Abigail and Elizabeth Forst and Ava and Ella Erickson. He is further survived by sisters, Loretta Laumer, Lucinda Kopp and Helen (Oliver) Schueller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon, brothers, Gilbert, Joseph, Norbert, Michael and Anton Stini and sisters, Mildred Mannigel, Florence Werner, Mary Reel, Margaret Donnerbauer, Marcella Barggender and Anna Merkes.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Waterford Assisted Living facility, the team from Heartland Hospice Care, Fr. Al Burkhardt, Dr. Carolyn Ostrander and all who loved and took such great care of Dad in the past year.

The family will designate a memorial at a later date.

Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com.
