Obituary for Bonnie Anderson

Bernadeen A. “Bonnie” Anderson, 78, Marshfield, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life for immediate family will be held at a later date.

Bonnie was born on February 5, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Bernard and Bernice (Kurtz) Ringwolski and was a 1961 graduate of Riverside High School in Milwaukee. After her education she began working at Milwaukee Telephone Company.

She was united in marriage to Charles P. Anderson on March 29, 1968 in Rockford, IL. After their marriage the Anderson’s moved to Stratford where Bonnie was a dedicated wife and mother. Her husband Charles died on September 13, 1982.

She then worked as the church secretary at Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford for many years. She later moved to Marshfield and became employed in the bakery department of Festival Foods for almost 25 years until her retirement.

While at Festival Foods she served as the Local Union Steward and on the State Board for the United Food and Commercial Workers (U.F.C.W.) Union.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Kent) Mews of Marshfield and a son, Charles (fiancee’ – Leah Vollink) Anderson, Jr. of Albertville, MN and grandchildren, Madeline and Stephanie Mews and Alysha Krzykowski. She is also survived by brothers, Jerome and Wayne and a sister Darlene.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles P. Anderson, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in Bonnie’s name to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA  01923-1389.
