Adam Steiner

Adam David Steiner, 41, Marshfield, passed away far too young on October 15, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm on Sunday, October 24th at RiverEdge Golf Course, 10191 Mill Creek Dr, Marshfield with a remembrance service beginning at 3:30 pm.

Adam was born on April 12, 1980 in Marshfield to Steven and Lorie (McHugh) Steiner. He attended Stratford High School where he served as a captain and leader for many of the sports teams he participated on. He earned all-region honors in football, participated in wrestling, and was the starting first baseman on multiple state playoffs baseball teams. He graduated in 1998 and briefly attended UW Oshkosh before settling on a different path to help those around him. After college he worked in a couple of different fields before entering the dairy industry. Adam was an instrumental and inspirational member of the Lely North America team. In just over four years he became the go-to guy for all technical issues on nearly every Lely farm in North America. He worked on numerous projects and earned the title of TSS Product Specialist XL for Lely North America, however in talking to the Lely team, Adam’s title wasn’t indicative of all he did for the Lely family.

On September 16, 2017, Adam married the love of his life Joelle Sommerfeldt at RiverEdge Golf Course in Marshfield. Upon marrying Joelle, Adam was able to settle in as the husband and father he always wanted to become and was destined to be. Together, they built a home that he took great pride in. He was a protector, willing to take the shirt off his own back for anyone. He taught his family what it felt like to be truly loved and safe.

Adam’s favorite past times were playing family games (except Pictionary), golfing with his brother and the fellas from RiverEdge, fishing and hunting with his daughter and close friends and playing softball. Adam’s love was shown for his animals, his family, and friendships, by always making time for them and creating memories they will all cherish forever.

He is survived by his wife, Joelle, daughter, Isabella, parents, Steve (Deb) Steiner and Lorie Steiner, brother, Matt (Monica) Steiner, sister, Jennifer (Steve) Perry, brother, Patrick (Katie) Bornbach, and sister, Erin (Tyler) Schilling. He is also survived by his niece, Olivia Steiner, goddaughter, Riley Bornbach, nephew, Carson Schilling, goddaughter, Blaire Schilling, and godson, Deven Mayer; as well as many other extended family members including Shirley (Dan) Haley and Danny Steiner, and Grandfather Duane Hill.

He was preceded in death by grandparents David and Edith Steiner, Daniel McHugh and Audrey Hill.

Donations can be made to the family. A scholarship fund to continue Adam’s legacy will be established at a later date.

Condolences may be sent online at www.rembsfh.com.
