Notre Dame’s Sammy Opichka Named Senior Girls Basketball Defensive Player of the Year

WSN has announced Notre Dame senior Sammy Opichka has been named the Senior Girls Basketball Defensive Player of the Year.

Finalists for the award were Opichka, Mackenzie Holzwart of Howards Grove, Bailey Lutes of Cuba City, Laura Nickel of Marshall, Kylie Schmidt of Mishicot, Rylee Stauner of Barron, and Callie Ziebell of Sparta.
