Auburndale traveled to Newman Catholic High School to challenge the 1st place Cardinals, but the Apaches are stuck in 2nd after a loss 36-50.
The Cardinals ended their conference season as Champs with 14-2 and 18-4 overall.
The Apaches are now tied in 2nd place in the Conference with the Marathon Red Raiders.
Auburndale will be playing the winner of the Spencer vs. Stratford Regional Quarterfinal on Friday, Feb. 28th.
Jadelyn Ganski had 20 points for the Cardinals followed by Julia Seidel with 15 and Lauren Shields added 7.
Georgi Schmutzer led the Apaches as their lead scorer with 16 followed by Natalie Aue and Paityn Hamus with 6.
