A new pharmacy will be opening inside Pick ‘n Save in Marshfield early January as part of a larger acquisition by the grocer’s parent company, Kroger Co.
Kroger plans to take over pharmacies in 42 Shopko locations, 25 of which are in Wisconsin, and move them to local grocery stores, including Metro Market and Copps. Shopko, which is based in Green Bay, announced last week it will be closing 39 stores in 19 states.
