New Firefighters/EMTs to Begin Serving Marshfield

MARSHFIELD, WI (Submitted to OnFocus) – The Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department introduced three new firefighters to its staff last month.

Dillon Cook joins the department as a Firefighter/Critical Care Paramedic from the South Area Fire District in Wausau where he served as an Engineer/Critical Care Paramedic since January 2017.

Cook has also worked for Aspirus MedEvac as a Paramedic from 2018-2019 and with Aspirus Medford Hospital as an Advanced EMT 2014-2018.

Cook has served as the EMS Director with the Spencer Fire Department. He completed his FFI Certification through Northcentral Technical College and his Paramedic Certification through Mid-State Technical College.

Jakob Bohman joins the City as a Firefighter/Paramedic from Beaver Creek Landscaping and Nursery where he has worked since May 2020 and Rose Bowl Lanes since September 2019.

Bohman has also worked for the Paul Bohman farm since 2018 and for Kloos Ag Innovations as a Custom Applicator and Seed Sales and with Marshfield Ag Service as a Custom Applicator and Soil Sampling Data.

Bohman has attended UW-Stevens Point, has completed the Fire Protection program through Chippewa Valley Technical College and recently completed his paramedic certification.

Zachary Weber joins the City from Nekoosa Ambulance Services where he has served as an Advanced EMT since October 2020.

He has also worked for Masonite Architectural Doors as a Production Supervisor from 2019-2020 and with the City of Las Vegas as an Irrigation Systems Repairer from 2014-2019. He completed his EMS training in North Las Vegas and is pursing his Paramedic certification though Mid-State Technical College.
