Nelson-Jameson Announces New Location at Figi’s Building

Nelson-Jameson to Move to Former Figi’s Corporate Office Building

MARSHFIELD, WIS., May 31, 2019 – Due to the significant growth the company has experienced over the last several years, the headquarters of Nelson-Jameson, Inc. will be moving this fall to the former Figi’s Corporate Office Building located at 3200 S. Central Avenue.

To better serve their existing customer base, and position themselves for additional future growth, Nelson-Jameson has been strategically expanding their workforce, investing in people, equipment and facilities. As the company has grown, so has its need for additional office space.

“We have been evaluating our options for some time, knowing that we would need expanded offices in Marshfield in the near future,” said Adam Nelson, VP of Technology and Vice Chairman. “While Figi’s closure was an unfortunate blow to the community, it also offered us a unique opportunity. This building gives us the room needed to accommodate our growth for the foreseeable future, while offering a top-quality work environment for our employees.”

The 64,000 sq. ft. former Figi’s headquarters will undergo extensive renovations this summer, with plans for 90 of Nelson-Jameson’s 210 employees to move into the space by the end of the year. Nelson-Jameson’s current location at 2400 E. 5th Street will continue to serve as a stocking warehouse for the company with over 2.2 million cubic feet of warehouse space. Both Marshfield locations will provide the company with many years of growth potential.

A part of the Marshfield community since 1949, Nelson-Jameson has been a family-owned, golden rule supplier to the food and dairy industry for 72 years, working with virtually every cheese manufacturer in the country. Product lines include safety & personnel, production & material handling, sanitation & janitorial, processing & flow control, laboratory & QA/QC, and bulk packaging & ingredients. The company is headquartered in Marshfield, Wisconsin, with facilities in Turlock, California; Twin Falls, Idaho; York, Pennsylvania; Amarillo, Texas; and Chicago, Illinois.
