Neillsville Girls Basketball Claim 1st in Conference Over Loyal

The Neillsville Warriors started out with a big lead over the Loyal Greyhounds and held it long enough to close the game 48-33.

Neillsville had Bella Opelt lead them 19 points followed by Jaden Barth with 12, and Emma Mosely added 7.


Remi Geiger led Loyal with 15 points, Savanah Schley added 12 and Bailey Bravner, Natasha Tellock, and Abriel Kubista each contributed 2.

With Neillsville in 1st with 14-2, Loyal is now 2nd in the Conference with a record of 13-3.

Neillsville will be travelling to Assumption on Tuesday in a non-conference face-off.

Loyal will be at home on Tuesday Feb 4th taking on the 3rd seeded Colby Hornets.
