The N. Central Ave/WIS-97 road project is completed and all lanes are open.

The state project from Arnold Street to Harrison Street in Marshfield included paving a new asphalt surface, updating traffic signals for Arnold Street and Doege Street, upgrading curbs to ADA standards, and modifying the medians to improve traffic flow.

Due to trickier access, Weiler Convenience Store saw lower traffic to its N. Central location and is happy that construction is now concluded.

“We are so pleased the road is opened up,” said Kelly Weiler, owner. “Come visit us and put us to work!”

At least one lane in each direction has been closed on N. Central Ave. since mid-April, when the City began a sewer and water rehabilitation project followed by the WisDOT project in May. The project was completed as scheduled on Tuesday.
