The Mosinee Indians survived a late comeback attempt from the Lakeland Thunderbirds, winning 25-16.
Michal Dul scored all four of Mosinee’s touchdowns with three 2 yard TD runs, and an 11 yard TD run.
Mosinee would take a 25-0 lead with 4:14 remaining, but Lakeland would get two late touchdowns, with 2:40 left in the game Brayden Wicezek would connect with Max Masayesva on a 21-yard touchdown pass. Then with 1:43 remaining Lakeland would recover a fumble and return it 45 yards for a touchdown.

Lakeland hosts Merrill on October 2nd, Mosinee heads up to Rhinelander.
