Mosinee Schools on Lockdown Due to ‘Suspicious Person’

Update: A man attempted to enter Mosinee High School Thursday morning and was denied entry after he did not identify himself. The person was located by police around noon and the person was deemed not to be a threat to himself or the community.

Update 12:38: The situation is resolved and the lockdown has been lifted.

Mosinee School District is on soft lockdown, meaning no one may enter or exit the building without approval.

This is due to a “suspicious person” in the city of Mosinee. Parents were notified of the lockdown. More updates would be provided once the incident has been cleared by law enforcement, the superintendent stated in a notice to parents.
