Mosinee handles Antigo

Mosinee traveled to Antigo to open up their Great Northern Conference action. Antigo got on the board first with a bucket from Gabriel. Mosinee would cause a turnover or get a stop on Antigo’s next 7 possessions and then give up a bucket on the next three, 8-6 Antigo lead with 10 minutes to play in the first half. Then Mosinee would go on a run by hitting from deep, grabbing offensive rebounds for put-backs, and finishing layups inside of Antigo’s zone defense. Antigo would score 12 points on their last eight possessions of the half to go into the locker room down 32-20 to Mosinee.
Mosinee started the second half with Miller hitting a three in the corner and Mosinee converting two quick turnovers in the full court into points. The pressure of Mosinee held Antigo to 1 point in their last 22 possessions of the game which allowed Mosinee to cruise to a 71-32 victory over Antigo.
