Mosinee would jump out to a 5-0 lead in the first 2 minutes of their game against Antigo on Friday, January 21, 2022, at home. Antigo’s Wes Ebel would respond with a right corner 3. At the 12-minute mark Kyle Miller finds Keagen Jirschele beyond the arc, splash, Mosinee takes the 8-6 lead. Antigo would battle with Mosinee for the next 5 minutes before Mosinee would start to pull away and finish the half on a 17-6 run which included three three-pointers from Drake Grod and one from Kyle Miller.
Mosinee would lead Antigo 35-20 at the half. Mosinee would force 17 turnovers and get another 6 stops, giving up only 6 field goals to Antigo.
Ten players from Mosinee find their name in the scoring column including Davin Stoffel who led all scorers with 19 points, Keagen Jirschele contributed 15, and Drake Grod added 12 points in the 68-47 win. Mosinee is 14-1 overall and 6-0 in the Great Northern Conference.
